Gabe Good to have you on board!
FYI: UV.LOGIN in the UV account is a global for anyone connecting to UniVerse - think of it like the /etc/profile under UNIX. LOGIN is an optional startup for a specific account: it goes into the VOC file for that account and is usually the point for startup menus etc on legacy systems. Think of it like a .profile. But to confuse things (hey wouldn't life be boring if it were simple) you can also use a paragraph or command with the same name as the account, that will take precedence over LOGIN - but only in certain account flavors. Oh and finally, if you're under Windows you can also change the login banner used by the UniVerse telnet server - useful if you want to, for example, flag up your live or test servers. There is a registry entry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\IBM\UniVerse\CurrentUser called LogonBanner.
