Does the source machine have a CD burner? If so, you can use that. If these are Windows machines, first stop the UV services, then browse to the source file and copy it to the CD. If linux, execute "/etc/init.d/uv.rc stop", then cdrecord (see man page for options). Stopping UV is just a precaution to make sure the file isn't open, but not knowing anything about your specific environment I don't know if that's overkill.
