Is that an error message from the product
(Pick/D3/Universe/Unidata/JBase/etc) *or* is it a message from the
application itself?
If you're not sure, I'd be searching the code for that literal. It
*could* be an application error message generated by the ELSE or ON
ERROR clause of a read or write statement.
