Many thanks!! Actually, the filesytems were correctly mounted, but it was the "df timeouts" that were causing the problem. As soon as I read your email, it clicked and the fix took five, maybe six seconds to implement.

Later releases handle this better but introduce other problems. IIRC (df timeouts) So, have all your UniData filesystems mounted prior to starting UniData or upgrade to a release that has this patched. Get with your support provider on what release that may be.
