Also look for programs with multiple WRITE commands. I've had
software that did a READU, hit a WRITE (releasing the lock) and then
GOTO or CALL or GOSUB-ed its way into a second WRITE. On a long process,
particularly a background process, the WRITEs could be hours apart and
not both working from an updated image of the record.
