We're not SB+ experts, but SpoolerPlus, our generic Pick print spooler for Universe and Unidata, does coexist with SB+, and my understanding of SB+ is that it prints directly to the Windows printer and that it sends a printer configuration (ESC) sequence to the printer just before it sends the print job to the printer. If this is true, then you may want to examine the printer configuration sequence being sent to your printer by SB+. If the printer does not print according to the SB+ configuration sequence, then either some other printer configuration sequence is being sent to the printer after your SB+ sequence is sent, or your SB+ sequence is not being read properly by the printer. Another printer configuration sequence might be being sent to this printer by Windows if the printer has a Separator Page that consists of, or includes, a printer configuration ESC sequence. You can always write a small basic program as a printer drive to open the printer and print an ESC sequence to it, and then print something to the printer separately from the printer driver, just to test the printer driver. hth, Dave Dave Taylor CEO Sysmark Information Systems, Inc. 49 Aspen Way Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274 800-SYSMARK (800-797-6275) (O) 310-544-1974 (C) 310-561-5200 (F) 310-377-3550 www.sysmarkinfo.com Your Source for Integrated EDI Translation, DataSync Integration and Software Migration Authorized IBM Business Partner ------- u2-users mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/
