Really the only case that Jonathan Smith or I have ever come up with is if
you have a virtual field that uses data that is unique to a server (such as
including the hostname or IP address).
Or possibly path to an account - if you have the accounts on your SUB in a
different path.
Typically we advise RW_REEVALUATE_VF=0 to minimize the work the replication
writer processes have to do on the SUB.
Additionally - we support the SUB runing UniData with a different language
group. I haven't seen anyone in this configuration yet.
So - in order to eliminate checking for this on the SUB, we also suggest
setting UDR_CONVERT_CHAR=0.
These are both settings to boost performance of the udrw processes on the
SUB (that are reading replication logs from shared memory and applying the
updates to the data files).
