Good point, though we recently had an example where a feature someone on the list knew about is not in any of the docs, at least that anyone has said they found. I know I did a full text search on the 10.2 PDFs and didn't find it. (ODBC.LOGIN paragraph was the item.)

Does anyone open a case on documentation errors and omissions?

As to archive indexes, I've found the archive at Nabble to be fairly good, although there are things I know are there that it misses. Try

Hope that helps.

BTW -- if ALL you want is strictly technical information -- then RTFM, Tech Connect etc...I use this list to ask others for help regarding their personal experience and opinions on subject matters where I could not get the answers via those previously mentioned methods. If the answer includes suggestions on third party tools...then that may be truly the answer I was seeking.
