Just a hunch, but is the privilege file actually a subfile? If so, you would have to check the permissions on both the file and the subfile.

Anyone able to resize the privilege file? I'm on UniData 6.0.9 on HPUX. I can resize all the associated SQL files, views, etc, as long as I do so as sqlmgr (the user that created the schema). However - if I try to resize privilege file, I consistently 'break' it. Get the dreaded: 'No privilege on file...' error. And have to go back and re-run schema generation from scratch. Verified that sqlmgr is still the owner of privilege file and permissions are 666, as they were before. Any ideas? ------- u2-users mailing list u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/ ------- u2-users mailing list u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/
