I need to run ad-hoc queries against a Universe database from SQL Server 2005. I'm using Management Studio (formerly Query Analyzer).
I can connect to Universe via MS Excel and obtain query results, but am struggling with how to query via SQL Server. Do I need to set up the universe database as a linked server?
