<ad>[AD] etc.. You might want to try out a product called mvInstaller. You can download a evaluation copy from my website. This generates installation packages (like InstallShield, MSI etc) that can be installed using a choice of Windows or server based installers, and runs for UniVerse and UniData. That should also deal with your compilation issue - the package (optionally) contains compressed and encrypted source code which the installer will decompress/decrypt, compile, catalog and delete. That's the safest way to ensure it is compiled for the correct OS. </ad> I use a simple precompiler here that takes my source with a set of precompiler instructions and produces separate versions for UV, UDT, D3, QM, jBase etc, so the source that goes to build the packages is platform specific and clean.
