Hi,

it doesm't seem to work without a password!
You will either have to set up a password for yourself or create another user on your PC with a password.
Then you can log on through telnet or a terminal emulator.

Yes it is. Just remember that XP is a workstation O/S so it only allows a maximum of 10 connections.
