I have a client, who happens to be a family friend too (so I can't give up
or blow it off <g>), that needs his small company's "system" migrated from
an old badly neglected Windows NT machine running Ardent Universe to a
Linux server running IBM Universe.
They have around 10 total users of this system AFAIK, and probably only a
few would be using it at the same time. Universe is installed, but none
of the data has been migrated over.
I don't have the time to figure out Universe and do this myself. I am an
experienced computer/network guy, but I'm starting from absolutely no
Universe experience as a user or administrator, and would probably never
have another client that uses it.
If anyone would be interested in getting involved with this, contact me
off list and I'll put you in touch with the client to discuss $ and the
like. The client is in northern New Jersey, but I would be able to
provide remote access via VNC, ssh, whatever.
Thanks,
Jason
