Thanks to all who responded. After playing with this for a while, I've decided to build the HTML in the UniBasic program.
Part of the complication is that the web server is on Linux so I am using a Java Bridge and some Java stubs to get the data into PHP. I have managed to get XML documents to the browser, but parsing it looks like more trouble than just building the HTML in UniBasic. Thanks again.
