However just to say I have had experience of strange errors in uniobjects in the past on heavily used systems, this was because the network card was set to 100/full duplex, and the switch port to auto negotiate, so they negotiated to half duplex, we set the switch to full duplex and of course it> was faster, but we also lost the errors - may be something to investigate.
Thanks for the suggestion, one question though did you notice any kind of network errors that pointed you in that direction?
