Aix5.3/UV10.2.4/SB+5.4 Just a heads up: I just found that the REFORMAT verb chokes when either the source or destination is a distributed file. I don't think this is clearly documented anywhere. eg REFORMAT MY.DF.FILE F1 F2 F3 or REFORMAT SOMEFILE F1 F2 F3 ; File Name=MY.DF.FILE
In our case, this is causing an issue for our SB+ SMART.QUERY users. Smart Query uses REFORMAT when generating export to Excel for example. The error Smart Query reports is [202] Cannot Read Host Item.
