Laure: You need some kind of SSH type server running on your Windows network. We use WinSSHD, which is a very nice SSH server that allows SSH and SFTP connections. The product actually resides on one of our machines (we're not on a domain) and UD resides on another. We can SSH into the WinSSHD server which forwards our telnet communication to the UD dbms server. Pretty seemless, but not the IBM way with SSL.
I think WinSSHD is about $100 USD. I apologize in advance if this has already been covered, but a quick search did not give me what I need (quickly - the inevitable quantifier); that, and a lost battle with the IBM knowledge bases access controls: Universe 10.2.3 on Windows server 2003. Are ssh connections possible? What would it take? Users are coming in using AccuTerm, which supports an ssh connection type. I would like to know about server-side setup. TIA!
