I did it a year ago using samba, but not with Active Directory. It was a
WinNT domain.
I founded the procedure to authenticate in Windows Domain in some linux
forum.
It woked almost everythig, except replication.
So, I returned to windows again...

You would be correct and that was the release we were trying to
install. We have an open issue with IBM, but so far the issue remains
unresolved and the proposed solution does not work either.
