You say changing - changing from what ? Personally I would only ever use ODBC if I really had to and then only for reporting. If you want to do anything interactive I would use uniobjects either as .net or for java - or use some intelligence above that layer like the ibm ado providers, U2.NET or even a third party tool like MV.NET.
