George, The current BDT only works for version 7.2 or greater. I believe if you have UniObjects you can run [ad] XLr8Editor by U2logic[/ad], the other Eclipse plug-in. XLr8Editor works for release 6.1 or greater of Unidata. We never did test XLr8Editor for 6.0. I guess you could be our tester. Call or email me.

It comes with the newest versions of Unidata and Universe. I have searched and searched IBM's website and have only found a little bit of information. Here's what I found : The IBM UniData and UniVerse Basic Developers Toolkit (BDT) is an integrated, graphical development environment. BDT, a set of Eclipse plug-ins, gives programmers the ability to explore IBM UniData resources, and edit, compile and debug code in the UniData Basic language that supports their server-side business logic. This powerful and fun-to-use tool raises programmer productivity and fosters the use of programming best practices. Question : As a current IBM customer can I download the BDT? We are currently running Unidata 6.0 and do not yet want to upgrade to 7.2. Is the BDT an Eclipse plugin? Has anyone used it and do they like it? Thanks for any information, George _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users
