After reading Andy the CEO's letter, a couple thoughts: Two of the biggest names in computing are Microsoft and IBM. We've enjoyed the recognition that comes with the IBM name, but if you can't have that, what would you hope for in a parent company? I think all of my bullet points for what U2 needs to thrive, would describe Rocket, the situation that our U2 team now finds itself in.
It appears to me that U2 has come out of the shadows and faces a bright future. We can each share in and contribute to it by our positive involvement in the coming days. -Baker -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ross Morrissey Sent: Thursday, October 01, 2009 12:41 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [U2] U2 is now Rocket U2 http://www.rocketsoftware.com/u2/ is up, with trial version requests, certification, U2U, and a letter to the U2 Community A number of questions over the past couple of weeks appear to have been answered. _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list [email protected] http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users This communication, its contents and any file attachments transmitted with it are intended solely for the addressee(s) and may contain confidential proprietary information.
