I have a situtation where the INPUT -1 is not returning the correct value.
The program 'freezes' due to this problem. Has anyone seen this situtation.

Do you mean "INPUT var,-1" ?

And what do you mean by "not returning the correct value"? What do you think is the correct value?

My immediate guess is that your program is freezing because it's getting a null input, which is exactly what INPUT x,-1 is *meant* to do!

Cheers,
Wol
