[ESC]+[M] Allows you to write on there screen, but not enter data that
is registered by anything other than the client.

If you are root, you can do [ESC]+[F] which also you to actually input
data.

This is true for both UniVerse and UniData.

Although, GoToMeeting, WebEx, RDP, etc, etc, are far better options than
TANDEM these days.
