Greetings, all! We have some new financial folks who think Essbase is the be-all, end-all of financial reporting. We're a 100% UV shop, and we really don't have experience in any type of external reporting functionality yet. I have two general questions:
1. Does Essbase integrate with U2? 2. What other packages are out there that would be comparable? No one has said anything about trying to force us into using Essbase, but we want to be able to talk intelligently about it when it comes up in discussions/meetings. We're going into it with open minds - maybe it is something we would want to use. We just don't know enough to know. I have contacted Oracle to try to get some information, but that was humorous to say the least. At this point, they might "get back to me in 2-4 business days". I have also started working with a VAR to see if we can get a dog and pony just for information gathering purposes. I figured I'd ask here as well to see if anyone out there has some real-world info/experience they'd be willing to pass along. Thanks!! Brian F.
