I wasn't sure it would work. My pdf documentation only lists it as unix -> NT, and never says anything about NT -> Unix .
I'm guessing I have access to uvbackup on the remote side, The PC has access to a mapped drive on the NT server where UV is loaded. I had access to the file structure of the accounts. I really didn't look for the .exe's since I've never used UV on NT. I'll have to check to see if I can run them via a DOS command prompt. But I'll have to see whether I can or not. I know I can copy the files over, so I was checking to see if that would work, just in case the traditional methods for moving accounts didn't work. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:u2-users- > [email protected]] On Behalf Of Brian Leach > Sent: Friday, March 26, 2010 12:32 PM > To: 'U2 Users List' > Subject: Re: [U2] nt to unix > > George > > Any reason why you're not using uvbackup and uvrestore? > > Brian > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of George > Gallen > Sent: 26 March 2010 3:47 PM > To: [email protected]; U2 Users List > Subject: Re: [U2] nt to unix > > Both are intel based.
