This can be done by creating a separate field just used for SQL with no characters that will break SQL or if you currently don't use the dictionary much, to change all of your items to conform. That includes using "D" and "I" types instead of "A" and "S" types. Another way is to have a separate dictionary and use the "USING" option when using a select or sort.
