no, it happens direct as well, just not as fast. The RPM software is running
on an OLD PC (windows 98), and it can't deal with the incoming traffic fast
enough. The software is great for what we need. This wasn't a problem on our
old server running lpr/lpd as the printer spooler, once we upgraded to RHEL5
and having been dealing with cups now, have these issues come up. It seems
the imagerunning's server played nice with lpd/lpr, but seems to having issues
with cups, why however, I don't know. I suspect it is something in the cups
configuration, but I just can't see it.
