The only thing I can think of that was an issue for me (although using Red Hat 
EL5), was in the install script it uses "uncompress", which RHEL did not have, 
so I had to modify the install script to use gunzip instead.

That and I had to go in and modify the term definitions for vt100 to get
rid of $<5> displaying with curser positioning.
