LOL No, I guess there are other companies as well that are a bit paranoid in that regard. I was told it has something to do with the auditors insisting on that policy. Supposedly if you use sudo it gets logged but if you log in as root you can screw the system and nobody is any the wiser. But since there is only UD running on the server and I am also the UD admin it is stupid really. I can't even log users off or release locks using UVAdmin.
But if ownership is sufficient I can change that with sudo and back again after the trigger is created.
