The one in Texas and the one in Seattle. Does anyone know of any other *active* user groups who hold meetings ? I'd like to update the list in my article http://knol.google.com/k/pick-universe-unidata-resources#view W ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Fri, 11 Feb 2011 17:10:22 -0500 From: "Richard Brown" <> To: "U2 Users List" <> Subject: Re: [U2] : Users Groups Message-ID: <44B9A7D913384F19A1625259889F89B0@Reblues> Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; reply-type=original The Atlanta Area Pick Users Group still holds regular meetings ----- Original Message ----- From: <> To: <> Sent: Friday, February 11, 2011 4:10 PM Subject: [U2] : Users Groups >I only know of two users groups which still hold meetings. I just sent a message to kerry because the page here http://www.aapug.org/next%20meeting.htm has not been update in quite a while. That made me believe they no longer met. The XLr8Resizer encompasses all of the file knowledge we have accumulated in the many years we have been working with Universe and Unidata. [/ad] We, nonetheless, were thrown for a few loops when the documentation from Rocket Software did not match what the Universe RESIZE command actually did on dynamic files. Note to Rocket Software people: make sure the documentation is what the command really does. One of XLr8Editor users pointed out the Phrase command allows for continuation lines. You do not have to put all of the phrase on line 2 in Universe. However, in Unidata that is not the case: a phrase must all be on line 2. It is documented in Universe with one obscure line that I could not find, but one of users found. [ad] We have reduced the complexity of the display grid. The commands now print to the Eclipse console as they are run to show you what is running. We have spent a fair amount of time to increase the ease of use. All this was to enhance the usability within the Eclipse.org framework. One important note, we heard from a competitor's client that they spent upwards of $40,000.00 on their tool and our $99.00 on XLr8Resizer. They said our tool was more cool and easier to use. So for those of you who have not tried our XLr8Resizer, we do trials licensing.
