Hello all,
I have a release of Universe 10.2.0 running on Windows and a new release of
Universe 11.1.1 running on Linux.
I have 2 sets of distributed files (two different files) that are defined
within a 3rd distribution that share a common dictionary item and index.
When I define the 3rd distributed file on Windows, it knows that the index
exists and if I copy the common dictionary do the 3rd distributed file, I
can do queries that utilize the combined index.
When I do the same thing on the Linux system, it cannot see that there is an
index and further, if I copy the common dictionary the the 3rd distributed
file, it won't allow me to create another index and displays an error:
Index field NAME is a duplicate of NAME, no new index created
The way that it works on Windows makes sense because the indices have
already been created but how it's working on Linux is just strange.
Would anyone be able to offer some suggestions on what to look at?
Thanks in advance for any ideas!
