You can migrate files, indexes, programs and object code with no changes - presuming comparable UniData releases on the two servers. Tar, ftp, restore, etc - or some other comparable method. If you are moving up substantially, I would recommend deleting and rebuilding indexes, though likely not required.
You will need to work with your UniData provider to order a proper version of UniData for the new platform and have the licenses transferred. What has to be done to make that happen? Do we need to recompile our source code? Are there any licensing issues? Is the data transportable or do we need to massage it? What about the dict items? Any other gotcha's? Is this an easy or difficult? Thanks, Bruce Lunt _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list U2-Users@listserver.u2ug.org http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list U2-Users@listserver.u2ug.org http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users
