One of my partners came in with enough of a bad taste for venture capital to keep me from considering such. I have heard from two others in the MV space and others outside of IT how debilitating their experiences were with investors of various sorts, even angel investors. Obviously it does work out for many folks at some point in the (ad)venture, however.
