On UV 11.1.3 this leaves single-digit months as a single digit. OCONV(TODAY, 'DYMD[2"",2"",2]') does the job correctly. The brackets allow format modifiers to the parameters that follow the D conversion code, in this case, 'YMD'. The 2's specifiy how many characters to display, and the empty quotes specify the 'text' with which to separate the elements. There's about 80 lines that describe it when you do HELP CONV D at TCL.
