We use Samba to move 1000's of interface transaction files across from Windows servers to a HP-UX UniVerse server daily. The Windows server creates the file, and UV on the HP-UX box picks them up. The directories and files are create on the HP-UX server through a Samba share. Haven't tried it the other way where the directories/files actually live on Windows. HTH
