Accuterm!? Heck yeah. You didn't mention that part! :) Those ESCape sequences tell AccuTerm to do all sorts of cool stuff. You'd "hope" that it's smart enough to not process the codes until it receives the AUX-off, but... Check with Pete Schellenbach. You might be able to execute a script to turn off command processing and then do something to turn it back on .... something that would not occur during the printing process.
