Is anyone using AV software on Unix systems like Solaris?

Had a bad case earlier this year with a bagle variant that a secretary opened...there was *no* update pattern from sophos(or anyone else really) for 3 hours for the virii which went rampant flooding the mail server and i think network shares.
Really *not* a fan of AV software the people that write viruses seem so much smarter than the people that write AV software....although that might be because the AV vendor has allocated their best employees to that department. ;-)
