Colleagues, I am starting a PhD in the field of 'Mobile robot navigation and path planning under uncertainty'. Currently I am looking for introductory material as well as information on current research. (Preferably web-based) I am especially interested in the application of Bayesian (or other probability theory) to two particular problems: How to navigate, given a map of the environment and sensor data, in a dynamically changing environment. How to navigate with limited prior knowledge of the environment. If anyone could point me to some sources of information, I would be most grateful. Many thanks, M.Gasson
