The Cognitive Science Society welcomes nominations for the next editor of Cognitive Science. Beginning in 2001, the editor will implement a new model for the journal, which includes new formats for articles, a new structure for the editorial staff, and new mechanisms for handling and tracking manuscripts. Candidates should be well established researchers in cognitive science and be committed to publishing premiere research of an inter-disciplinary nature. Both self-nominations and nominations of others are welcome. Send nominations by August 7, 2000 to Larry Barsalou, Chair of the Search Committee of the governing board, at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
