****Apologies for cross-posting**** Dear Colleagues, I am pleased to announce an international workshop that I am co-organising, jointy with David Heckerman, Joe Whittaker and Alberto Saccardi. The aim of the workshop is to create a forum of discussion between statisticians and data miners, as well as between companies and research institutions, to better understand and approach the challenges posed by the analysis of modern data warehouses. A special emphasis will be put on the analysis of web data (web mining). The workshop consists of invited tutorials and case studies, but any contribution to the discussion is very welcome !
