                                                          Call for
Workshop Proposals

At ECSQARU-2003 we will continue the tradition of having workshops
before the technical sessions. The workshops will be on 2 July 2003.

Proposals for workshops are now called for. Proposals should be no
longer than one page and should describe the topic of the workshop,
names (and contact information) of the organizers, expected number of
participants and duration, and any other factor relevant to its
selection. Preference is for daylong workshops, but workshops planned
for half a day will also be considered.

Proposals should reach the program co-chairs via email by 1 December
2002. Up to three proposals will be selected. Acceptance decisions
will be made by 15 December 2002.

After 15 December 2002, this page will be replaced by another page:
"Workshop Call for Papers" that will contain links to the home pages
of the individual workshops. Workshop organizers will be responsible
for producing a full-blown Call for Papers, for giving it adequate
publicity, for reviewing and making acceptance decisions on submitted
papers, for scheduling workshop activities in consultation with the
organization chair, and for producing (informal) proceedings for the
workshop participants.

Inquiries can be directed to the program co-chairs Thomas D. Nielsen
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and Nevin L. Zhang ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
