Dear Rich, Regarding Promedas, we have the following plans: Our domain on lipids and vascular diseases (500 vars) will be tested by an external medical panel. We hope to start these tests in 2003 and to report the results in a good medical journal. Once tested in this way, we think it can enter clinical practice. Informal responses of medical specialists are very positive. However, the popularity of this module may be limited because it concerns a rather specialized domain.
In 2003, we will start modeling the whole domain of endocrinology (2000-2500 variables). We hope to have a first version in 2004. We believe that once this module has been tested by an external pannel it can have many users. Best regards, Bert Kappen We intend to start selling Promedas maybe middle of 2004.
