Some of you may be aware that E. T. Jaynes's final book, _Probability Theory: The Logic of Science_, has recently been published, five years after his death. I think this is an enormously important work, and it's a shame that Jaynes never got the chance to finish it the way he wanted it. I've begun compiling a list of what I think are errata for the book, as well as some commentary of my own. You can find it at http://ksvanhorn.com/jaynes/. (This may not be its permanent home, BTW.) I'll be forwarding the errata on to the book's editor, in case a second edition is ever published.
If any of you have errata or commentary you would like to contribute, please send them to me, and indicate whether you wish to be identified as the contributor. As I continue (re)reading PT:TLOS I will put additional material on the web page; this will include finishing the Chapter 15 errata, adding errata for Chapters 16-22, and providing some commentary on Chapter 12 (Jaynes's derivation of an uninformative prior for a Bernoulli parameter) and Chapter 15 (Jaynes's resolution of the marginalization paradox). By the way, if there are any latex2html experts out there, I could use some help in fixing a few problems I'm having in creating this web page.
