Information assurance is a top priority for the United States Government.
Finding effective ways to protect information systems, networks and
sensitive data within the nation's critical information infrastructure is
challenging even with the most advanced technology and trained
professionals. This track aims to bring together individuals involved in
multiple disciplines of information security and assurance to foster
exchange of ideas. This special track invites authors to submit original
contributions of not more than 8 pages which include, but are not limited
to the following topics of interest:

* Internet and www security
* Information and data integrity
* Intrusion detection
* Data and system integrity
* Authorization and access control
* Information warfare and cyber-terrorism

Publication

The conference proceedings will be published by IEEE Computer Society. A
special issue of an international journal is being planned consisting of
selected papers from this conference. Papers will be reviewed by at least
two independent referees for originality and quality.

Paper Submission Deadline: October 17, 2003
Author Notification : November 14, 2003
Camera Ready Copy : December 19, 2003

Paper Submission Guidelines
Papers should be original contributions of theoretical or experimental
nature or be unique experience reports. Interested authors should send an
8-page summary including 5 keywords to the Track Chairs (Email addresses
are available in hyperlinks). Electronic submission is strongly encouraged.
