Postdoc / researcher wanted
The Next Generation Information Search Group, part of CoSCo (Complex
Systems Computation Group) at Helsinki Institute for Information
Technology (HIIT) has a position open immediately for a postdoc and/or
researcher to support our efforts in document processing for intranet
search. The ideal candidate would be an experienced programmer with
hands on experience in text, search, probability modelling, or
knowledge discovery, open systems and Linux. Experience with relevant
theory considered equally. This would be a one year and renewable
position working with Wray Buntine and Henry Tirri at one of Finland's
leading information technology research centers, HIIT, a joint
institute of University of Helsinki and Helsinki University of
Technology, situated on the harbour near downtown Helsinki.
