Data Mining Engineer (Sunnyvale, CA) We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Mining engineer to work on developing software systems that help unveil the value of Yahoo's tremendous amount of data (> trillion bytes). Qualified candidates should be proficient in C/C++ programming, and have good data mining knowledge, such as statistics, predictive modeling, data clustering, collaborative filtering, text data mining, etc. The candidate should be a good thinker, and like to implement his/her own ideas. A PhD degree in computer science/engineering or related areas is required. Experience in SAS programming is a plus.
