GENERAL INFORMATION ------------------- Decision making processes, and information fusion at large, are currently embedded in most Artificial Intelligence applications (e.g. applications in electronic commerce or internet). Moreover, fusion methods are nowadays basic tools for some well-established AI technologies (e.g. ensemble methods in Machine Learning). The aim of this conference is to provide an opportunity for discussing models for information fusion and aggregation as well as computational methods and criteria for model selection and determination. TOPICS OF INTEREST ------------------ Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Tools - Aggregation operators, Hierarchical models, - Fuzzy measures and fuzzy integrals - Learning methods for parameter determination - Theory and algorithms for operator selection - Methods for categorical scales Applications - Multiagent systems - Electronic commerce - Information retrieval - e-gamming and e-gambling - Machine learning algorithms - Data mining PROCEEDINGS ----------- The MDAI Proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag in the LNAI series (Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence) and distributed at the conference. INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS ------------------------ LNAI/LNCS style is mandatory in the final version (12 pages/11 point), and encouraged in submissions. Submissions will be handled electronically.
