(Apologies if you receive this CfP more than once)
CLIHC 05 invites the HCI community from academia and industry to
submit work in all categories of participation for publication and
presentation at CLICH2005. Full papers are the main category to
disseminate complete research results. CLIHC follows the usual
international academic standards to evaluate and disseminate full
papers.
Many of the research issues in the agenda for the field of
Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) relate to the culture, language and
work practices for specific communities. Not only should we reach for
technology that can be used and appreciated by the widest range of
people, but also for means to promote inter-cultural exchange and
cross-fertilization among people with diverse backgrounds and
needs. CLIHC is open to all topics and disciplines related to HCI,
such as interactive systems development, methodologies and tools,
evaluation reports, theories and models.
This document explains how interested people can submit full papers to
be considered for publication and presentation in the conference.
Please feel free to share and distribute this text with your
colleagues and other interested persons. Thank you for your
collaboration.

TYPES OF CONTRIBUTIONS:
Full Papers:
A full paper may have up to 12 pages long, including references,
appendices and figures.
Submissions must be formatted according to the conference guidelines,
and uploaded electronically as PDF or Postscript through the
conference Web site.
Posters:
CLIHC05 invites researchers, professors, students and professionals to
submit their recent research in the form of posters. This will allow
them to obtain valuable feedback from the participants and to
establish important contacts for informal or formal collaboration.
Workshops and Tutorials:
Workshops may focus on research or applied HCI topics. Submissions
addressing basic or applied research in HCI areas are
encouraged. Other type of perspectives will be also welcomed if they
have a strong HCI component, for example HCI in education,
professional practices in HCI, etc.
Tutorials are one of the best ways of conveying introductory and
advanced instruction on specific topics to an interested
audience. Tutorials are a significant attraction to attendance at
CLIHC 2005 and provide exposure in depth and breadth to HCI topics.
Papers and Posters submissions should be written in English. Papers
presentations at the conference are also expected to be given in
English. However, if there are authors who wish to present in Spanish
or Portuguese, please contact us as soon as possible in order to
arrange simultaneous translation to English during the conference. The
conference is also planning to provide mentoring for English writing
if submitted before February 4th.
Workshops and Tutorials may be in English, Spanish or Portuguese
according to organizers language preferences.
More details for submission of contributions may be found in
