The IDA 2005 Organizing Committee invites proposals for tutorials that 
will be co-located with the main conference.

                         Tutorial Proposals

 Tutorial proposals should address the conference theme and topics. All
 tutorial are scheduled for Thursday, September 8, 2005. Selected
 three-hour tutorials will be designed to introduce:

 a) Important topics to  people with little or no background in the 
    topics of the coference, and/or
 b) New areas or advanced topics aimed at experts in the field.

 Submission:

 The tutorial proposal deadline is June 1, 2005. Proposals should be 
 sent via e-mail to the tutorial chair

 Proposal Format:

 1. Title of the tutorial.

 2. Abstract clearly expressing the contents and motivations for 
 participants taking the tutorial, and  including references, 
 briefly annotated as needed.

 3. Keywords.

 4. Biosketch (mandatory) and Curriculum Vitae (optional) of the
 speaker(s), including a list of contributions to the field.

 5. Contact information including complete title, office and home 
 surface mail address with mail code, phone, fax and email.

 Selection:

 Proposals will be evaluated as they are received, based on the 
 timeliness of the topic, qualifications of the organizers and lecturers
 and balance across topics of interest represented in IDA-2005. 

 Notification of acceptance will be sent to the organizers by 6 of 
June, 2005.

 Presentation of a tutorial is subject to sufficient enrolment during
 preregistration. Accepted tutorials will be immediately posted on the 
 web site.
