Your help with circulating this announcement locally is much appreciated. Apologies for multiple postings. ------------------------------------------------------------ ICML 2007 24th International Conference on Machine Learning http://oregonstate.edu/conferences/icml2007/ June 20-24, 2007 Corvallis, Oregon, USA ICML 2007 invites submission of papers on substantial, original, and previously unpublished research in all aspects of machine learning. We welcome submissions of innovative work on systems that are self adaptive, systems that improve their own performance, or systems that apply logical, statistical, probabilistic or other formalisms to the analysis of data, learning predictive models, or interaction with the environment. We welcome theoretical contributions, carefully evaluated empirical studies, and we particularly welcome work that combines both. We also encourage submissions that bridge the gap between machine learning and other fields of research. ICML 2007 will be co-located with the 17th Annual International Conference on Inductive Logic Programming (ILP 2007). *********************** IMPORTANT DATES: *********************** Feb 7: Abstract submissions due Feb 9: Paper submissions due Jun 19-21: ILP Conference (co-located) Jun 20-24: ICML Conference *********************** Format of the Conference The conference will include three days of technical presentations along with one day of tutorials and one day of workshops. The conference will also feature poster sessions and informal gatherings designed to foster discussion of research in machine learning. Accepted papers will each be given an oral presentation and also featured in evening poster sessions, to allow conference attendees to discuss the work with the authors at greater length. The ICML program will also feature talks by several invited speakers. Paper Submission The deadline for abstract submissions to ICML 2007 is Wednesday, February 7th, 2007.
